JCSGames is an online educational games platform developed by JCSGames. Our goal is to offer free, accessible learning games for children, teenagers and adults.

2.1 Users without an account (open access)

Login is optional. All games can be accessed without creating an account. No personal data is collected from users who play without logging in. Games only use the browser's local storage (localStorage) to save progress and settings directly on your device, without sending data to the server. Match history is not recorded without an account.

2.2 Users with an account (optional)

When voluntarily creating an account, we collect the following data:

Display name
Email address
Profile photo (when logging in via Google)

Authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication (Google LLC). Match history and scores for logged-in users are stored in a secure database via Supabase.

2.3 Usage data and advertising

Our platform displays ads through Google AdSense. Google may collect browsing data to personalize the ads shown, according to their own Privacy Policy. You can manage your preferences at adssettings.google.com.

3. Purpose of Data Use

The data collected is used exclusively to:

Maintain and authenticate your account on the platform
Save and display your score history and achievements
Personalize the gaming experience
Display ads (via Google AdSense) to keep games free
Improve our services based on aggregated and anonymous data

We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties for commercial purposes.

4. Cookies and Local Storage

We use session cookies to keep you authenticated on the platform. Games use localStorage to save settings and progress locally in your browser. This data is not transmitted to our servers.

JCSGames is aimed at educational audiences, including children. We do not intentionally collect personal data from children under 13 without parental consent. Registration is not required to play — games are accessible to everyone without login.

Account data is kept while you have an active account on the platform. Upon requesting account deletion, all associated personal data will be removed within 30 days. Anonymized and aggregated data for statistical purposes may be kept indefinitely.
