The Compre Bem supermarket turned into chaos: prices vanished from the shelf tags, the change never adds up, and the customer line keeps growing. The desperate manager hired you on the spot as the new cashier — and now it's on you: every satisfied customer is a problem solved, and every wrong change is one more complaint at the store.
With your calculator left in your pocket (you won't need it), your mission is to master the everyday math of running a supermarket checkout: adding up purchases, calculating change, applying discounts, weighing products, and closing every sale without keeping anyone waiting.
Math Market brings together 7 game modes, each focused on a different everyday math skill: Cash Register (add up the customer's items), Correct Change (calculate the exact change), Promotions (apply discounts and special offers), By Weight (calculate the price of products sold by weight), Shopping List (fit a purchase inside a budget), Smart Savings (compare prices and choose the cheaper option) and Against the Clock (serve a line of customers with the timer running).
Each mode can be played at 4 difficulty levels — from Easy (grades 1–3, whole numbers only, no timer) to Master (all challenge types combined, with reduced time), passing through Medium (cents, change and weight) and Hard (percentages and promotions). Correct answers earn XP, which adds up to level up and unlock a progress history.
The biggest challenge is staying accurate under time pressure: in the timed modes, calculating change or a discount too fast raises the chance of missing the value by a few cents — and at the market, a few cents still count. Promotions (percentage discounts, buy-3-pay-2 deals, etc.) require more than one calculation in sequence before reaching the final answer.
In By Weight mode, rounding the per-kilo value incorrectly is the most common mistake. In Master mode, every calculation type appears mixed together with no warning, requiring you to quickly recognize what kind of math each customer needs.
- 1In Correct Change mode, first figure out how much is missing to reach the next round number — it's faster than subtracting directly.
- 2In Promotions, work out the discount before adding the rest of the purchase — that way you don't lose track of a value you already calculated.
- 3In By Weight mode, round the weight to one decimal place before multiplying by the price — it greatly reduces the chance of error.
- 4Start with Easy mode for each type of calculation before jumping to Master — each mode has its own logic worth training in isolation first.
- 5In Against the Clock, prioritize customers with simpler purchases first — clearing the easy calculations quickly leaves more time for the hard ones.
